The mentoring group is created to provide PhD students working on experimental research (broadly speaking) a space to connect, advance their research agenda and both give and receive feedback on their ongoing work.
This term (January - June 2024) we have an exciting line-up of PhD candidates presenting their work. You can see the program below or download it here. You can also see the program from the 2023 series here.
We also organize the 3E seminar series once a month and invite leading researchers to discuss their work on behavioral and experimental research. You can see the program here.
This presentation focuses on the findings from the SOC2050 study, a comprehensive survey of 912 individuals in Luxembourg assessing sustainability behaviors and attitudes. The study particularly examined how different traits, attitudes or cognitive biases influence behaviors in four sustainability domains: meat consumption, mobility, housing energy usage, and willingness to make financial sacrifices for carbon footprint reduction. Key personality traits, including altruism and a growth mindset, emerged as significant predictors of sustainable behaviors, and provide insightful results for targeted policy.
